About Cabin Connect
Cabin Connect is Australia’s dedicated online platform for cabin, granny flat, residential lifestyle home and tiny house sales. You can find cabin builders, insurance providers and places to holiday within the Cabin Connect online network.
Established in 2015, Cabin Connect was Founded by one of the Industries Young Leaders, April Whiston. April saw the need for a dedicated platform after years of running their family owned and operated holiday park in Echuca/Moama.
Since 2015, the platform has grown with hundreds of caravan parks and builders using the platform to help sell their cabins, onsite vans, new builds and more. In 2021, the tourist sector of the network was created to cater for parks that only provide cabins for accommodation purposes.
You can browse the Australian Park Directory and book direct with your chosen park.
Why book direct?
Booking directly with the caravan park is always best, this provides the park with all of your details and offers travellers the opportunity to ask questions about their accommodation or powered caravan site. The other huge benefit is that when booking directly, all the money you pay the park to stay with them, stays with them.
There is now an abundance of 3rd party booking sites, commonly called Online Travel Agents (OTA’s). Majority of the time, when customers book through these sites, the park loses 10-15% of the booking fee in commission. This means, 10-15% of every booking made on these channels heads out of Australia and overseas. This results in less revenue for the park, which means less jobs, less development and less money staying in Australia.
So, book direct and keep more money in Australian businesses.
